Holy Trinity’s Annual Zabawa Polish Festival will take on a whole new look this year as we present it in “To Go” fashion! It will be held on Friday August 21st from 5 until 9 PM and again on Saturday August 22nd from 2 until 8 PM or until sold out. As always, the event will be held outside on the parish grounds located at 23rd & Reed Streets. (no access to our social center.)

With the present COVID pandemic not allowing us to offer our regular festival, we hope this alternative of having a food festival available for carry out will become the next best thing! Our entire crew has been hard at work in a very short time to make this whole event take flight.

Our menu will be a little less than usual as we were not even able to gather enough people to cook until just recently. That said though, you will find many of your favorites ready for you to buy and take home to enjoy! Our famous pierogi, the potato pancakes, bigos, kotlety, & sausagesalong with homemade chicken soup and czarnina on the main food line. And for those who’ve asked, we will also offer dozen bags of our frozen pierogi for sale as well!

Please check our menu (see link above) and be ready when you arrive. You can park in either of our lots or on street and make your way into the lot next to the parish garages. Look for Tent 1 where you will finalize your order and pay. Then move to Tent 2 to enter the actual food line where your order will be filled! (see map link above)

After you exit the food line, you can walk to Tent 3 where you’ll find our famous Polish Bakery with all the normal sweet bread, cookies, nut rolls and our fresh fried paczki! Round out your trip with a visit to the beer area and our Holy Trinity Parish merchandise. At all areas, we will accept cash or credit card as there will be no food tickets to purchase this year.

In order to provide safety for all our guests and volunteers as well, masks must be worn when you are on the grounds and we remind all our patrons that as much as we’d love to have you stay, visit and enjoy your food, we cannot have any tables or chairs out. With the 6’ social distancing required as well as the limit on how many people can be in the food area, we will be trying to keep the line moving at all times! We look forward to (hopefully) returning to our full Zabawa in 2021 with not only our complete food lineup but alsothe bands, our Basket & Grand Raffles, our kids area and plenty of time and space for everyone to visit and reconnect with their heritage. In the meantime, our “Zabawa To Go” should keep us together in spirit until we can gather once again in person! We look forward to seeing everyone at the “Zabawa To Go!”
